The Animals in That Country wins Aurealis Award

Laura Jean McKay’s The Animals in That Country has won an Aurealis Award, tied with Repo Virtual by Corey J White for Best Science Fiction Novel at this year’s awards.

The Aurealis Awards were established in 1995 by Chimaera Publications, the publishers of Aurealis magazine, to recognise the achievements of Australian science fiction, fantasy and horror writers.
