The Animals in That Country Longlisted for the 2021 Miles Franklin Literary Award

Congratulations to Laura Jean McKay whose book The Animals in That Country has been longlisted for the 2021 Miles Franklin Literary Award, and to all authors on the longlist.

Laura has also won the Victorian Prize for Literarture, the Victorian Premier’s Literary Award for Fiction, the ABIA Small Publisher’s Adult Book of the Year Award. She has been shortlisted for the Stella Prize, the 2020 Aurealis Awards’ Best Science Fiction Novel and the 2020 Readings Prize for New Australian Fiction.
