Tania Chandler shortlisted for a Davitt award

We're thrilled to announce that All That I Remember About Dean Cola by Tania Chandler has been shortlisted for a Davitt Award, on the adult crime novel list.

Tania is a Melbourne-based writer, writing teacher, and editor. All That I Remember About Dean Cola is her novel, and tells a compelling portrait of mental illness, memory, and the ways that the years when we ‘come of age’ can be twisted into trauma.

‘The quality of the prose and the diversity of the themes and scenes of the crime are on an upwards spiral. The six judges have especially been blown away by the standard of the debut books. The authors demonstrate an impressive expertise in their craft. The calibre of the shortlist reflects the leap taken by crime writing generally in Australia,’ said the Sisters in Crime judges’ coordinator Dr Philomena Horsley.

Congratulations again to Tania and all the other shortlisted authors.
