DiscoverWe are delighted that Ellis Island by Małgorzata Szejnert, translated from the Polish by Sean Gasper Bye, has been shortlisted for the Warwick Prize for Women in Translation 2021.
The prize aims to addres the gender imbalance in translated literature and increase the number of international women’s voices accessible by a British and Irish readership. The judges for this year's prize are Amanda Hopkinson, Boyd Tonkin and Susan Bassnett.
