The Prime Minister Kevin Rudd launched the revised and updated edition of George Megalogenis’ book The Longest Decade at Experimedia, State Library on Wednesday 21 May.
In the opening of his speech, Prime Minister Rudd noted that he had seen George’s book somewhere before. Indeed, it had been launched “not by just one Prime Minister before me, but by two Prime Ministers before me”, he said. The Longest Decade was launched by The Hon Paul Keating in Sydney and The Hon John Howard in Canberra when it was first published in 2006.
