Scribe has won the 2008 Small Publisher of the Year Award. The award was announced at an Australian book industry award function, hosted by Virginia Trioli, held in Melbourne on Sunday, 15 June 2008.

Accepting the award, Scribe’s publisher, Henry Rosenbloom, thanked his ‘magnificent staff’, Penguin’s sales and distribution team, and booksellers around the country. He said that it was hard work being a small publisher, which made it especially gratifying to receive recognition from industry peers.

This is the second time in three years that Scribe has won the award — it was also the inaugural winner in 2006.
