Cullen Murphy

As managing editor of the Atlantic Monthly for more than two decades, Cullen Murphy worked with many of today's most prominent writers and helped to define the magazine's editorial direction. He recently left to become the editor at large at Vanity Fair. He is the author of The Word According to Eve, about women and the Bible, and the essay collection Just Curious.
