Brigid Maher

Brigid Maher was born in Lucca, Italy, and spent part of her childhood there. She lives in Melbourne, and teaches Italian language, culture, and translation at La Trobe University. Her research focuses mainly on the translation of humour, irony, and satire in Italian and English literature.
